Translucent Concrete

I don't know how it's made, but it's fascinating. I wish I could find more information about it, but it's still pretty new. Most of what I could find was in Spanish. Here's what I do know: the creators - Joel Sosa and Sergio Omar Galvan - are students from a university in Mexico; it's 30% lighter than concrete; it allows through up to 80% of light and it has the same strength as traditional concrete. However, something similar has apparently been on the market now for a few years, manufactured by a company called Litracon. It was invented in 2001 by a Hungarian guy named Aron Losonczi. It's made by combining optical fibers with fine concrete and also has the same strength as traditional concrete. From the looks of it, they're manufactured differently. I'm not sure about the weight of Litracon. Either way, they're both pretty cool. And I'm sure there's more to come in this field.
